About our tours
Offroad tours & adventure riding
Our fantastic, action packed, big bike tours are specifically designed to build your confidence while challenging your abilities and taking you out of your comfort zone. Tours will be graded to ensure riders are at similar levels and there will be basic coaching available along the way from our guides.
We are not looking to rip up the country side with large groups of noisy two strokes, instead we limit numbers to keep things bespoke. Tours will vary depending on conditions and the groups pace but they are primarily designed for big bikes, 650cc and above. Enquire if you have something smaller and are just starting out.
Basic mechanical and medical support will be available from the guides, we can provide recovery back to base but personal break down recovery for the onward journey is a must. A personal tool kit with puncture repair is recommended. Your bike must have adequate engine and sump protection, and a pair of lever guards is suggested. We can recommend appropriate additions for your bike if requested.
Personal protective equipment is a necessity, ideally upper body armour, rigid motor cross style boots and wet weather gear however, a good adventure suit and adventure boots will suffice.
Our ride your own bike, guided tours are on a combination of byways, unclassified roads and surfaced roads. Bikes must be road legal, taxed and insured. The more trail orientated tyres on your bike, the more traction you will have, we advise at least 50/50 on road/off road for our tours. Some excellent big bike options are Michelin Anakee Wild’s and Continental TKC 80’s.

5 star Testimonials
"Team BBBs Sean and Tim seem like just two really nice guys, which they are of course. But they also REALLY know their stuff. They both have a wealth of high level offroad motorbike experience and they also really know how to put together an excellent day's riding for their customers. The route we did was researched and reccied thoroughly and on the day, they opened and closed all the gates!!! I know!! They offer just the right amount of support to get you to push yourself and ride at your best. We also had a good laugh. Thoroughly recommend these guys!"

THE TEAM
Sean Kelly
An Australian living in the UK, still a full time paramedic with over 5 year’s front line experience.
After extensive motorcycle touring in Australia, Europe, Northern Africa and South Asia, Sean was looking for more of a challenge, He realised he could take his BMW R1200GS down some trails after taking part in some amateur events like the GS trophy and the Taffy Dakar, and he has never looked back.
When first starting out it’s hard to find appropriate trails and have the confidence to ride down them all by yourself. He has now decided that he would be out riding anyway, why not take out a group of friends he hasn’t yet met and share his experiences with other enthusiasts.
Tim Mitchell
Representing the UK at the 2020 GS trophy in New Zealand
Motorsport and overlanding have always been a keen interest which led him to pursue a career in the motor trade as a vehicle technician. Over the years he's had several classic VW's but now he's turned his focus back to his main passion - motorbikes! Although he's thinned the heard Tim still owns several classic BMW boxer twins and his all time favorite 1200 GS.
Tim's cycled the legnth of the country twice racking up nearly 2000 miles in 22 days and is always looking for the next challenge or adventure.
Coming from a trials and enduro background it wasn't long before he started to explore beyond the tarmac on his GS. Greenlaning can be daunting especially on a big bike, it's a nightmare trying to discover all the necesities, precautions, routes and legalities, hopefully through BBB we can guide you through and keep it enjoyable!
